Anthill

Anthill was an AI agent orchestration platform. Ten agents managed the full software development lifecycle, from issue triage through code review to deployment. Each agent had a speciality: Pilot coordinated, Forge built backend, Pixel handled frontend, Vigil ran QA, Sentinel managed security. Together they formed a self-healing development pipeline with shared vector memory and automatic delegation.

It ran across multiple SaaS products simultaneously. Tickets went in, code came out, builds were verified, and deployments happened without ceremony. The colony did not sleep.

The orchestration overhead became the product. Maintaining ten agents, their coordination layer, shared memory sync, and delegation protocol was a full engineering effort. When the underlying platform shipped memory engines, tool servers, and multi-session support as standard features, the custom infrastructure became redundant.
